Shelley Davies is one of Brisbane’s leading powerhouse vocalists when it comes to contemporary music. The seeds of her musical career were planted in her very early teens and over the years, she has honed her craft and now performs with some of the best musicians in the business. S he consistently provides premium quality live entertainment for a variety of audiences and her creativity and love for music are the driving forces that guarantee she brings an unstoppably captivating and energetic performance to any event.
Shelley’s voice is rich in authenticity, warmth and soul, owed largely to years of immersion into her parent’s hefty Motown and Atlantic Soul vinyl record collection. Shelley's love for urban music is undeniable and her strength in performing these genres is second to none, b ut she is by no means a one-trick pony and habitually demonstrates her versatility by performing a wide-range of genres that include Soul, R&B, Pop, Rock, Jazz, EDM, Funk, Easy Listening and of course, a sprinkle of Country (let’s go girls)!
Shelley’s plethora of experience includes national anthem performances at live televised sporting events (The Ashes; The Rugby World Cup), a 5-year-long lead role in “Respect” (a stage show about the life and music of Aretha Franklin) performances on live commercial radio, large corporate events (QLD Tourism Awards; Mt Isa Rodeo Gala Ball; Roma Races), domestic and international tours, cruise ship entertainment, weddings, parties, and performing at a variety of popular bars, pubs and clubs throughout South-East QLD.
