I was born and raised in Northern Rivers New South Wales, where I started playing guitar at the age of 15. Over the last 25 years I have developed a folky, coastal blues sound with influences from Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, Vance Joy and Bob Marley. You could call me a ‘one-man-band’ with my ability to play guitar, harmonica, tambourine, cajon (wooden box drum) and sing, all at the same time. True to my name, I can spark energy and excitement in my audiences with foot stomping beats, or calm a crowd with a soulful ballad. I play a versatile musical repertoire of originals and covers that traverse the decades, covering a variety of genres with a healthy mix of old, new and in-between.
