Jason Delphin was unearthed by Triple J in 2018 for his song Something Wrong, which gained national airplay and led to his signing with Sony Music. Since then, he has performed at notable festivals such as The Falls Festival (Victoria and Tasmania), Big Day Out (Gold Coast), Bluesfest (Byron Bay), Forth Valley Blues Festival (Tasmania), and has appeared nine consecutive years at the Broadbeach Blues Festival.
Delphin completed a Master’s degree in Jazz Arranging and Composing, developing a distinctive full-band sound with guitar and vocal looping, bass lines, foot stomp, and percussion. He also plays in a dynamic duo with Juan Muzzio on percussion, adding rhythmic depth to his performances.
In addition to his original tours, Delphin performs over 250 cover shows a year, covering a wide range of music from rock classics to modern pop and dance. His live energy and emotional performances have earned him numerous corporate engagements, including eBay’s Australian conference, Myer’s end-of-year Christmas party, Metricon Homes’ Christmas party, and multiple corporate jazz shows at The Star Casino. He has also played over 200 weddings.
