Jamie Porteous, one of Ibiza's favourite sons, having just relocating studio and his radio shows to Australasia, after 10 years within Europe, and with him bringing his magical sound.
Live electronic artist/producer & Tv-Radio host. His sets renown for shaping sexy Balearic, house & disco moods accompanied by live synths and subtle vocals.
After a strong live performance history as a session keyboardist from 2006-2011 Jamie enjoyed working amongst some great peers such as "Groove Armada", "Ladyhawke", "Byran Ferry" and "Duran Duran" to name a few.
Iconic Ibiza residencies since 2011 Have seen him playing to the who's who @ Amnesia (Cream), Pacha (Rumours), Space (Carl Cox) & Ushuaia and now in 2017 solidifying his mark on the Nu-Disco scene at Heart Ibiza’s Saturday night resident of “Boogie in Wonderland”.
Jamie also represents number 7 world-ranked Ibiza Global Radio and Ibiza Global TV in Ibiza and from November 2017 also in Australasia with his daily sets showcasing his latest promo selections from around the globe.
Exciting Upcoming releases for 2018 coming from Germany's Kompakt, the infamous "Wall of Sound" (Grace Jones & Royskopp), Music for dreams (Copenhagen) and his own label, Night Noise (Amsterdam).
2016 Release “Burtons Garden” Featured by Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Described by Laurent Garnier as on of the best records of the year. Other 2016 release saw the “first time Social Disco” E.P peak at 24 in the deep house charts of Beatport and “Welcome” on the Amuse Bouche 2 Compilation hit number 2. Past releases gaining chart support from friends and labels Kolsch, Seth Troxler, Super- flu, Sasha, Guy Gerber, DJ Harvey, Nein / Tici Taci ,Tronic Youth and Duncan gray to name a few of his peers.
2017 Saw Jamie jump across into the commercial sector with music featured on the new instalment of David Lynch’s “Twin Peaks” on Showtime, and also dipping his feet into the Balearic scene with popular releases on the world renown “Music for Dreams”.
2018 sees expansion of his IGR “Balearic Australasia” Radio show beginning on triple J (Australia) from June 2018.
