16+ years behind the wheels might tell you that Dools takes this shit rather seriously. Within this time he’s gone from one of Brisbane’s in demand RnB/Hip Hop DJ’s supporting DMX, Mobb Deep and Chingy, before crossing over to the electronic world and opening the main stage of Future Music Festival, alongside regular sets at Parklife, Stereosonic, Good Vibrations and Big Day Out. Past residencies include Family Nightclub, Platinum Nightclub and The Met Brisbane.
You may recognise the face from either of two other successful music projects supporting artists such as Diplo, Skrillex, Chris Lake, and Green Velvet, but this new pseudonym sees Dools take a step off the main stage and back into the intimate environments of where it all began, bringing together his skill for building the right vibes and reading the room correctly.
A producer and sound engineer by day, Dools lives and breathes the music. Not only writing for himself but also a selection of other artists, and the versatility that spans throughout his DJ career is also evident in the bodies of work he produces.
