DJ May has been captivating audiences in Brisbane since 2016, performing at a diverse range of venues including clubs, bars, cafes, markets, shopping centers, and a variety of private parties, weddings, and corporate events. Known for a repertoire that spans a wide array of musical styles, DJ May has built a reputation for versatility and crowd engagement.
From a young age, playing music on cassette decks at house parties and family functions, DJ May was passionate about music, unaware at the time that this passion could evolve into a career centered around playing music and uplifting people’s spirits.
At the core, DJ May is a drummer and percussionist, with a deep love for music. This foundation in rhythm and a broad appreciation for different musical styles have been instrumental in understanding and incorporating varied musical sensibilities into mixes. DJ May prides themselves on being attuned to what listeners want to hear in any given situation.
The primary goal as a DJ for DJ May is to create an atmosphere where people feel good, dance, and have a memorable time. Recently, DJ May has innovated their DJ sets by integrating live percussion, blending a lifelong love for drums and percussion with the art of DJing.
