Discopoly is an electronic music producer/DJ from Sydney, with support on his music from international DJ Mag Top 100 DJs including Hardwell, Nicky Romero & MOGUAI. He has performed his vibrant live DJ sets around Sydney at Oxford Art Factory, Beach Road Bondi, Barangaroo House, Bungalow 8, Cargo Bar, The Island and The Lansdowne Hotel, as well as at an extensive collection of corporate, artistic and private events.
With his alter ego Boy From The Moon, he shoots for the type of flow ideal for grooving on a boat or at an afternoon garden party. His style is influenced by a variety of melodic underground styles, including deep, progressive, breaks and techno, as well as the unique sounds of nature.
His technical ability and deep musical knowledge from an almost 20 year love of dance music translates into electric, captivating live DJ sets and mixes. A downright impressive music collection gives him the flexibility to freely and spontaneously adapt to the crowd, designing live mashups and truly special transitions on the fly which showcase upfront new tunes as well as pay homage to underrated classics in equal measures.
Alongside DJing, he operates as a jack-of-all-trades creative producer. He has worked extensively behind the scenes with legendary Sydney DJ Hot Dub Time Machine as well as produced & performed a variety of creative gigs of his own. His diverse & valuable skillset includes vision mixing for livestreams, videography, photography, podcasting and music education for the next generation of DJs & producers.
