AJ Selector’s journey as an artist began in childhood, with a foundation in playing keys and drums before studying at the Conservatorium of Music. His passion for DJing and production ignited in 2006, quickly establishing him in Southeast Queensland’s thriving club scene.
Always striving to push his limits, AJ took his talents across Australia, electrifying crowds from Brisbane to Bendigo. His wanderlust led him on an incredible 30-country tour, performing at top venues across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, gaining invaluable global experience along the way.
Inspired by his travels, AJ’s musical taste has grown into a dynamic blend of genres, from laid-back chill vibes to high-energy all-night parties. His sets are known for their seamless fusion of hip hop, R&B, drum & bass, funky pop, and more—creating an experience that’s as unpredictable as it is unforgettable.
Today, AJ holds residencies in venues across the Southeast from Brisbane to Byron Bay, including the Brisbane Casino, Soundgarden, Royal Nundah, and Kingpin.
